Nothing exciting...

Nothing amazingly exciting happening in my world.  I have finished my walk season and am trying to begin the wrap up portion.  I have a lot of planning to do for work and I am anxious to get that going.  I am thrilled that I have a new assistant that will be working with me and she is awesome.  I know we will work well together and do some great things...

D is getting so big.  He will be SIX months old tomorrow!!!!  HALF A YEAR!  WHAT?  He is so big...I think he is over 18 lbs at the moment...his six month appointment is this week so I'll know specifics later.

He is giggling all the time and growling.  He loves to hear himself.  He LOVES his jumpy toys and just jumps and jumps and jumps.  He is inquisitive too.  If we walk into a new place he just looks around and soaks it all in.  He loves to pinch faces...lol.  Nana is letting him get away with that.  He is ticklish on his sternum...he he he.  He gets so tickled.  When he is trying to go to sleep he has to have something over his eyes...his arm or his silky or just a plain ol' blanket.  He cracks me up.

He LOVES to eat.  He loves his cereal with applesauce, bananas or peaches.  He ADORES sweet potatoes and corn.  Carrots are a close second.  He doesn't really care much for the "green" veggies yet but we are still not counting them out.

I may be predicting that he will be a lefty.  He uses his left hand pretty dominantly.  His grandpappy (Matt's dad) is a lefty...I don't know if that is hereditary or not?

Anyway...that's whats happening in our neck of the woods...

I read that it is indeed genetic on which hand is the dominant one! I also read that they could go back and forth between the two until they are two years old. That's when you know for sure which one they use. Interesting!
