Sooo upset...

My friend, Marisa, put it correctly..."Momnesia strikes again".  Matt and I invited our neighbors over for dinner last night and I was frantically trying to pick up the house...and the guest bathroom sink still had a paint ring in it because we were using that bathroom as a "painting station" for when we painted the nursery - (yes, I know it has been awhile).  Anyway, I grabbed some Pinesol and stopped up the sink and started the water....AND...obviously walked away...

THIRTY MINUTES LATER...

Matt was vacuuming the living room and heard water pouring out from somewhere...oh yeah...that's right, I left the water running for 30 minutes at least.  Water was pouring out from the bathroom...into the hallway...into the guest room...AND into Dawson's nursery.  We have hardwood (fake).  So, yeah, it was a nightmare.  Matt tried to joke with me about it and I was just sick.  We soaked as much of it up as we could but it is up under the carpet and still up under the hardwood.

We are in the process of calling our insurance and seeing if they can do anything...in the meantime, everything needs to come up...it wouldn't be good to bring Dawson home into a mildew infested house...

I am just sick about it.

No progression that I know of.  I was hurting last night...constant back pain and groin pain.  I didn't sleep good at all and today I am really sore.  My contractions haven't gotten any more intense really...just I know they are happening a little more (I think).

I want to extend a shout out to my new friend and (going to be) OB nurse, Lindsey!  She has been such a huge help and resource to me during this time!  I am sure she is tired of hearing from me!  But, I have spotted quite a bit and (TMI) I have had some very fleshy pee-pee breaks.  So, she has helped answer a lot of my questions!  I hope yesterday's stripping of the membranes helped!

I did take pictures of the water and Matt shop-vac-ing the water out of the back part of the house...Go, Lisa.  One of these days it will be funny and it will be a good story to tell Dawson.

OMG!!! Bless your heart! I'm sorry that you're dealing with it all. TRY not to stress out too bad and it will be super funny to you in a few.....years. :)

As sick as it makes you, it really is normal to have "mommy brain" and forgetfulness.

And it's something that can be replaced, so try not to let yourself get too upset.

Hope you go into labor soon!

You didn't tell me they stripped your membranes!! That might get things going. Of course they did it 3 times w/ addie and it did nothing, but I hear it works on a lot of people!
