Nursery so far...
Well, we still have a long way to go but here is the nursery so far. Everything is piled up :-) The table in the far left corner will not be there but we put it in there to help us stack stuff up for now. We still need to touch up the edging at the top and finish the inside of the window...
Matt is bringing in the changing table. We have used this piece as a mini buffet table for the last several years, but it officially became a changing table last night!
Daddy Matt making sure the table is in place :-) So exciting. At this point it really started to feel real...
Here is the bottom drawer of the changing table...it has all of his little socks and shoes in it that we have gotten so far! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the little socks!
This was at the end of the short nesting period...Zach was tired :-)
This picture is just of bibs...yes, bibs. There are a few burp cloths under there but seriously...bibs!!! YAY! They are all so cute!!!
We still need to secure the front of the crib but the majority of it is put together. I started sorting clothes last night...I just got through the newborn stuff :-)
Another picture of the changing table...a little more organized. I still have to get the little baseball knobs for the drawers (they are so cute).
Bathroom shot...some of the bath stuff we have gotten. I need to organize and get the bathroom kid friendly too! EEK, at the stuff we still have to do!
After this weekend and our last two showers, I hope to have all the wall decorations and the majority of the rest of our stuff. We definitely have enough stuff to handle Dawson if he were to come (say) today...but I am not organized with it all.
It was fun working on the room...I am ready to wash everything and get it in it's place but I don't want to wash stuff now because I want it to be FRESH and clean when he comes...so I am trying to sit on my hands and not do laundry for another few weeks.
Anyway, here is the nursery so far...we have a long way to go with the rest of the house because this room was our junk room/office/overflow/whatever-we-needed-to-hide room...so you can imagine that the rest of the house holds all the OTHER crap that was in there. Soooo, I have my work cut out for me.
