No catchy title...

It has been a rough weekend.

Physically I am really having trouble with "round ligament pain"...this is what it is off of webmd.com

Pregnancy, Round Ligament Pain Causes

Round ligament pain refers to a type of pelvic pain caused by stretching of the round ligaments. This occurs more commonly on the right side of the pelvis.
  • Your uterus is normally the size of a pear. Thick ligaments, one of which is called the round ligament, hold your uterus in suspension within your abdomen. As the uterus grows in size and weight, these ligaments become very long and thin, stressing and tensing like rubber bands.
  • The ligaments pull and tug on nearby nerve fibers and sensitive structures, causing pain. The severity of pain can worry you. Although round ligament pain is uncomfortable, it is also very normal.
  • A ligament spasm, an involuntary contraction or cramp, usually triggers a sharp pain. These spasms are found more frequently on the right side than the left because of the normal tendency of the uterus to turn to the right.
  • You might awaken at night with pain after having suddenly rolled over in your sleep.
  • The pain may also be brought on by exercise.
My pain has been in my right side mainly. It really hurts to walk and it feels like I just plopped down in the splits after 15 years of NOT stretching.  At times it doubles me over and I cannot walk at all.  It is very very painful.  Makes me concerned that it will only get worse as Dawson grows.  Even though it is miserable at times, I wouldn't trade Dawson for no pain.  So, I guess I will just suck it up and deal with it. I have an appointment on Thursday (my glucose test) and I will ask the doc (I see Dr. Simmons) about any other treatment (chiropractor or PT) since my pain is more to the severe at times.

My good friend "C" found out she was pregnant last week.  She miscarried in April and had another medicated IUI this cycle.  Her numbers are great and all looks well.  She has her first ultrasound on August 19th so PRAY for GREAT news! :-)

One of my blog friends (I don't even know her name) found out her last IVF round failed.  She doesn't know if they will continue with fertility...and they are really stepping back. After reading her latest blog, she warned that she would be deleting the blogs she followed if they are about "finally getting pregnant after trying to conceive for so long".  So, I got deleted.  I TOTALLY understand.  I know I have had to delete some of my readings in the past because I had to guard my heart.  I had to protect my mind...and it just makes me sad.

I found my first stretch mark.  It is on the underneath of my belly on my left side and it is a deep purple color that it about a half inch long.  It has been there awhile so I have tried to ignore it and say it was an indention from my clothes...well, it isn't...I need to face the facts.  My Facebook friends have given me some GREAT names for them:  Battle Scars, Beauty Marks, Stretch Marks are to Moms like gray hair is to the wise, and Badges of Honor.

I got Dawson's bedding in last week.  I love it.  We are working on the nursery this week.  I hope to have pictures posted soon.  I love the colors of the bedding...they are very rich colors.  I am so excited.
