My belly is now pooched out farther than my boobs. :-) It seems SO strange and I LOVE every bit of the belly - I just sit and rub on it like the "Genie" will pop out! I got tickled at a friend of mine, "J", from Fay-town that said her friend said that when she was pregnant that she thought it was totally appropriate to grab someone's boobs if some random person rubbed her belly. I LAUGHED SO HARD! Can you imagine a stranger coming up and rubbing your big pregnant belly and then you just reaching up and honking the "girls"? LOL! Priceless!
Anyway, here is what is going on with Dawson Paul. Forgive the "her" references because this was taken off the babycenter.com:
How your baby's growing:Your baby's sensory development is exploding! Her brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that she may be able to hear your voice now, so don't be shy about reading aloud, talking to her, or singing a happy tune if the mood strikes you.
Your baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom — about the size of a large heirloom tomato. Her arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of her body now. Her kidneys continue to make urine and the hair on her scalp is sprouting. A waxy protective coating called the vernix caseosa is forming on her skin to prevent it from pickling in the amniotic fluid.
It is so exciting.
I have found out lately that a few of my blog and regular friends have had failed IVF attempts and one is in the process of miscarrying. One friend, the doctor gave her an 80% chance of one and a 50% of two!!! It just breaks my heart. Please pray for "M", "A", and "J". The roller coaster is unbearable. Once you have been on the it...you never forget.
