Video and other details...

What a day. We got there at nine and waited 1.5 hours in the waiting room. It was brutal. Tracy (nurse anesthetist) came out and chatted with us. She was finished with her egg retrieval and was actually done for the day but was waiting around to see how many we were carrying! How nice was that?? She made us laugh in the waiting room and then she said she was going to go back and hurry Dr. Miller up. LOL.

We finally got called back and Heather said she thought it was fun to play games with us. Thanks, Heather! LOL.

Heather showed us to the ultrasound room and after I was settled in...here came the crew. Heather, Eunice, Tracy, and another came in (I can't remember her name, sorry, Heather, remind me!!). It was so funny. We were packed in that room. They (and myself) were totally convinced we were going to see two or three in there.

Dr. Miller started the exam and he immediately said, "One!" I think we were all like, "What?" Tracy told Dr. M to check again because my numbers were so high...and that is where the video started. Matt didn't want to video the first part just in case something was wrong (that is what happened last time). So...in the video you hear Tracy say, "See, now we made him nervous, so now he is checking" and then Dr. Miller says, "There is just one". You can see the black blob on the screen. HOW EXCITING! I think we were all shocked. Matt was THRILLED ha! He can get excited now.

We heard the heartbeat twice. The first time it was 116 and the second time it was 114. That is the one you BARELY hear on the video. The sound was acting weird so when you hear some pulsating...it really isn't the heartbeat. Dr. Miller is measuring my ovaries which he says, "I am just measuring the ovaries real quick. Nothing real exciting". Then after the split screen goes off Heather asks Dr. Miller to do the heartbeat again. Then you see the line pulsating across the ultrasound screen. Turn your sound up REAL loud and you may hear it for a second.

But, everything looks good. I am thrilled and relieved that what was in there looks good. That was my prayer. I guess my numbers were SOOO high that it was just enough encouragement I needed to not worry that something was going wrong.

Matt sound half asleep in this video. Enjoy!

Oh, AND, my progesterone level's were "FANTASTIC" and I don't have to do my IM shots anymore! I've switched to the inserts! YAY! My booty GREATLY appreciates that! I am on the inserts until week 12. My next appointment is April 1st and we will check to see how everything looks and then I will be released to my OB. Wow. This is really happening. Thank you, Lord, you are amazing.
